A school child died due to cold in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. After this, a case was registered in the CJM court against Additional Chief Secretary of Education Department KK Pathak, ACS Secretary Kanhaiya Prasad Srivastava and District Education Officer Ajay Kumar Singh. This case has been registered regarding the order to open schools in extreme cold. In fact, angry over the death of a class 6 student due to cold yesterday, advocate Sushil Kumar Singh has filed this case under Section 304 (A). The next hearing of this case has been fixed for February 3.

It is being told that the problems of Additional Chief Secretary of Bihar Education Department KK Pathak may increase if he orders to open schools in extreme cold. Schools in Bihar are open even in such winter. Meanwhile, Mohammad Qurban, a class 6 student in Muzaffarpur, died due to cold. In this case, a case has been filed against KK Pathak in the CJM court of Muzaffarpur. Apart from Kaushal Kumar Pathak, advocate Sushil Kumar Singh has also accused Education Department’s Joint Secretary Kanhaiya Prasad Srivastava and District Education Officer Ajay Kumar Singh. A case of culpable homicide has been registered against all of them accusing them of negligence.

Student dies due to cold in Bochahan

All of them have been said to be responsible for the death of a student due to cold in Bochahan and the fainting of a class 9 student in Gaighat. In the case, the advocate has made five witnesses including DM Pranav Kumar. Let us tell you that Mohammad Qurban, a student of class 6, died on Wednesday in Bochahan, Muzaffarpur. Student Qurban had gone to school on Wednesday morning. Seeing that he was trembling, the teacher sent Qurban home. He reached home trembling. On reaching home he told that he had defecated in his pants. The family wrapped him in warm clothes and took him to the doctor but by then Mohammad Qurban died. It was feared that he would die due to cold.

Children going to school in extreme cold due to fear of name being cut

On the other hand, during prayer in Higher Secondary School, Dahila of Gaighat block, Sakina Khatoon, a student of class nine, fell unconscious on the ground. Angered by the school being opened in extreme cold, the advocate has filed a case against everyone. Advocate Sushil Kumar Singh said that an orange alert was issued by the Meteorological Department regarding cold in Bihar. But still orders were given to open all the government schools of Bihar. Children are registering their attendance even in extreme cold due to the fear of their name being dropped in school. The result was that 14-year-old Mohammad Qurban of Bochahan died of cold. A 9 year old student fainted in Gaighat. All these people are responsible for this death.
