Raipur Crime News: Courier boy arrested carrying 21 kg ganja to Maharashtra

Raipur (Naiduniya representative).On Monday, Tikrapara police caught a courier boy who had reached Bhathagaon bus terminal to buy ganja from Koraput, Odisha and take it to Akola, Maharashtra. On search, 21 kg 300 grams of ganja packed in five different packets was found in the possession of the accused. Police have claimed that the value of the seized ganja was more than Rs 2 lakh.

This courier boy, resident of Akola, was asked for whom and for how long he has been working. Police suspect that the accused had already purchased ganja from Odisha and taken it to Maharashtra via train or passenger bus via Raipur.
