The district administration has taken another big initiative in the direction of providing mental strength and positive environment to the coaching students in Kota. District Collector Dr. Ravindra Goswami will now have dinner with the students in any hostel every Friday and interact with them. With the aim of strengthening the coaching sector under the “Kamyab Kota” campaign, the District Collector started it on Friday night by having dinner with the girl students at the Girls Hostel located in Kunhadi Landmark City.
When I talked to the girls living here in an informal atmosphere at the dining table, within a short time the girls got along with them as if they were with their own family members. The collector listened to his words easily and expressed his views. He shared his experiences of student life with the girl students. Amidst the laughter, he also gave deep lessons and Guru Mantras.

The girl students looked very happy to have the District Collector among them. The students talked to them about the problems, confusion and methods of study they face in daily studies. At the same time, the collector gave him tips for concentration, time management and success in studies. Not only this, the District Collector added affection to the atmosphere by singing the song “Aa, chal ke tujhe, main le ke chalun ek aise galgan ke tale.. where there is no sorrow, there are no tears, only love is there.”
The District Collector also cut the tricolor cake with these girl students and gifted them pens, the students said that it was a pleasant surprise for the District Collector to come among us like this.
Lessons learned from my experiences-
The District Collector spent about 2 hours with the girl students. While interacting with the girl students, he told that he too had come to Kota as a student for coaching. Then, when he did not like it here, he soon left from here and then studied on his own and achieved success. He said that such periods come in the life of students when there is confusion, indecision and stress surrounds them. In such a situation, there is a need to be strong and act wisely. Don’t be afraid of any problem, problems come to make us stronger. Instead of running away in fear, face them and move forward.

The District Collector said that life is a divine gift, to live it with full passion, set your big goals. Career is just a way to achieve goals, not a destination. There will be failures and disappointments in achieving the goal but do not give up. Don’t judge yourself just by failing in an exam. If you deserve it then keep trying but there must be a limit. Also keep other options open.
