Delhi Chief Minister and AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal was presented in the special court by the Enforcement Directorate on Thursday. Here ED has again sought seven days’ custody of Kejriwal. ED said that Kejriwal is not cooperating in the investigation. He has to come face to face with another accused. At the same time, Arvind Kejriwal raised questions on his arrest. He asked- Why have I been arrested? There is no allegation against me. Are there sufficient grounds for my arrest? No court has found me guilty yet, then why have I been arrested? There is no allegation against me.

Let us tell you that Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by ED on March 21 in the money laundering case related to Delhi liquor scam. Kejriwal was sent to seven-day custody by the court. His custody was going to end today. On this, ED presented him in the special court located at Rouse Avenue in Delhi.

‘My name came up four times in the case’

Kejriwal also said in the court, I was interrogated in a good environment. My name has appeared only four times in the case. At the same time, ED told the court that Kejriwal’s statements have been recorded during interrogation. We want Kejriwal to face Deepak Chagela (AAP leader from Goa). ED has demanded seven days’ remand of Arvind Kejriwal.

‘Want to get complete information from Kejriwal’

ED said that we want to have complete information about the case. They are deliberately not sharing information and their ITR. ED has already recorded the statement of Deepak Chagela.

‘No court has found me guilty’

At the same time, Kejriwal says that this matter is currently going on for two years. Till now no court has found me guilty. CBI has filed a charge sheet of 31 thousand pages. ED has filed a chargesheet of 25 thousand pages. So far my name has appeared in four statements. Kejriwal read out the statements in which his name has been taken.

‘We want to tell everything to the court’

Kejriwal asked, why was I arrested? Is this statement enough to arrest a sitting CM? Kejriwal said that there is no problem in facing remand. We want to tell everything to the court. He also mentioned the electoral bonds of Sharat Chandra Reddy’s company Arabinda Pharma.

Kejriwal said that that day some people came to meet me at 4:30 pm. He demanded land to open his trust in Delhi. I said that I will send this file to LG. The same day there was an ED raid and he misrepresented the case. False statements were also made in the case.
