There is a lot of resentment among the tribals regarding this, because employment opportunities are being snatched away from the people living in Vanagram. Actually this order has been issued from the Forest Department Headquarters. In this, emphasis has been laid on getting all the construction and plantation related work done in departmental and forest areas through tender. Whereas till now the contract system had not been implemented in the Forest Department.

He used to take the help of villagers for all the work done in the forest. They used to get themselves registered in the Forest Committee. The monitoring of the works remains with the forest officers. Currently opposing this order Madhya Pradesh Rangers Association Has also done it. On the other hand, the order has been given by Anurag Kumar, Deputy Secretary of Forest Department, on March 27.

For years, for any work in the Forest Department, employment opportunities have to be provided to local villagers and forest dwellers. So that their migration from the forests can be stopped. The Forest Department has been providing them employment through digging pits in plantations, planting saplings, making fire lines, constructing ponds, contours, weeding and weeding. In return, they are allotted funds, which are deposited directly into the accounts.

Villagers get employment through Forest Committee. Its advantage was that no outsider could enter the forest area. In this situation, there was no damage to the forest. However, for any construction work, the department had called for tender for the material, whereas the department has to arrange laborers for the construction of the building.

Forest department has made preparations to get all the work done through tender, in which tenders will be issued for all the works to be done at the forest division level. Besides, contractors will also be allowed to work in the field of wildlife. Outsiders will be able to do all the work related to fencing, boundary wall construction, building construction, nursery related work, digging pits for plantation, planting saplings, forest road upgradation, reinforcement work, ponds, ground water conservation etc.

After the tender, the contractor will bring in outsiders to get the work done. In such a situation, tribal people may lose their employment. After award of the contract, the responsibility of monitoring the work will also be less on the departmental officers. Contractors will be able to work in reserved forest areas. In such a situation, forests and wildlife will be in danger.

Danger to forests will increase

After the order was issued, Madhya Pradesh Rangers Association has expressed objection. Association President Shishupal Ahirwar says that Tiger-Leopard State The state has got the status. With the introduction of contract system here, the activities of outsiders in the forest will increase. Animals will be in danger. Also, employment is being snatched away from the tribals. These people live in the forest, hence the forest areas and wildlife remain safe.
