Vipul Shah, producer and creative director of the film ‘The Kerala Story’, which was among the blockbuster films of last year, has completed his new thought-provoking film ‘Bastar The Naxal Story’ this year. The main cast of this film, which is going to be released on March 15, includes film ‘The Kerala Story’ actress Ada Sharma, apart from Indira Tiwari, Shilpa Shukla, Yashpal Sharma and Vijay. The story of the film is about Inspector General of Police Neerja Madhavan going against the politics and system and waging a war against Naxalites and this story is said to be inspired by the story of a real police officer.


Producer of the film Vipul Shah says, ‘The kind of responses the trailer of the film ‘Bastar The Naxal Story’ has received is very encouraging. We had made preparations to release the trailer in Raipur a long time ago and we also made up our mind for this so that the people of the state where this story is based, see it and understand what is right and what is wrong for them. The local people who came to watch the trailer of the film also praised it openly and believed that Naxalism did not allow the development of their area to happen as it should have happened till now.


On this occasion, Ada Sharma attracted a lot of people’s attention in red dress. Her natural, beautiful and charming style left the audience present at the event surprised by the fact that it was this beauty who played the role of the dangerous looking IG Neerja Madhavan in the film. Ada thanked the film’s producer Vipul Shah and director Sudipto Sen for giving her such an important role in this film.


Actress Indira Tiwari, who is playing the second lead role in the film, was seen in a completely different look on this occasion. Dressed in a white floral saree and matching jewellery, Indira Tiwari described this character as the real pain of the people of Naxal-affected areas. He thanked the film’s director Sudipto Sen for crafting the character so convincingly and credited the research and groundwork of the film’s writer Amarnath Jha as its core.
