These days, farmers are selling their paddy and they are in need of money after selling the paddy, but in the cooperative bank of Ambikapur city, farmers are not able to withdraw the amount as per their requirement.

There is a huge crowd of farmers gathering at the cooperative bank adjacent to Akashvani Chowk of the city and the bank does not have enough money to provide the amount to the farmers as per their need, hence a limit of Rs 20 thousand has been set. In such a situation, farmers are forced to come to the bank every day and face pressure. On Monday, farmers had to face huge problems. Like every day, an order was issued to the farmers to fill the withdrawal form only up to Rs 20 thousand. After this the crowd increased and the bank management started feeling helpless. When farmers demanded more amount, they were asked to fill withdrawal form up to Rs 30 thousand. By afternoon a huge crowd of farmers had gathered. After this, their withdrawal form was taken out by the security guard of the bank and the bank management issued an order to fill the withdrawal form of Rs. 10,000 each. In such a situation, the farmers remained troubled the whole day. Neither drinking water nor seating arrangements have been made here for the elderly farmers coming from remote villages. Farmers remain busy from banks to roads.

There are long queues, but representatives of any political party are not reaching the spot to know about the problem of the farmers. This problem of the farmers was not only today but the farmers are being troubled here for a long time. During the wedding season, farmers They need more money but they are not being given more than Rs 10-20 thousand by the bank. Public representatives belonging to political parties are busy in accusing each other but do not consider it necessary to go to the spot and face the problems of the farmers, this is the reason why the farmers are in their present condition and are getting troubled every day.

Only Rs 44 lakh came into the bank, need more-

Here information was received from the bank management that only Rs 44 lakh was made available in the bank on Monday whereas hundreds of farmers had reached there who needed an amount of more than one crore. The farmers needed Rs 30 thousand to Rs 2 lakh but the bank management was feeling helpless in providing them this amount. Bank officials say that less money came on Monday. Many days more than one crore have been given to the farmers. With the crowd coming every day, more than two crore are needed but this much amount is not available.

Farmers returning empty handed after getting tired-

Farmers reach the Cooperative Bank since morning. After standing in queues all day and fighting in the crowd, many farmers have to return without money. After selling paddy, farmers always have to make frequent trips to the bank. For years, there is such crowd in government banks but the bank management does not make any additional arrangements so that the farmers do not have to face problems. Earlier, farmers had to stand in queues at the main branch on Deviganj Road. Since this was the main road of the city and traffic problems were also arising, hence on the initiative of the administration, the Co-operative Bank management opened the branch of the Government Bank in front of Akashvani Chowk. Arrangements were made for the farmers in one branch but the same situation is being created here also.

Where are the farmer friendly leaders missing?

Often during elections, so-called leaders friendly to farmers make various statements. There are interested thinkers regarding the problems of farmers and their demands, but now no one is understanding the need to take care of the problems that farmers are facing in the city. The so-called leaders of farmers associated with both the party and the opposition have gone missing. Along with public representatives, administration officials should also take immediate initiative to solve this problem of farmers.
