Amid the latest developments of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar resigning and forming the government again with the support of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Samajwadi Party (SP) on Sunday said that its leader Akhilesh Yadav has formed an alliance to counter the BJP. A model has been introduced and others should follow it. SP spokesperson Amik Jammee said, “The elections that are going to be held are to save secular democracy. Our party leader Akhilesh Yadav has presented a model by announcing seat sharing with Congress and Rashtriya Lok Dal. The second round of talks is going on with Congress. Everyone should follow this to remove BJP. On Kumar’s resignation, he said, “This should not have been done.”

Our leader Akhilesh ji is following the path shown by Mulayam Singh Yadav, he did everything to stop BJP from gaining power. Meanwhile, the SP chief said in his post on the social media platform ‘X’, “BJP “I was never as weak in my lifetime as I am today.” Yadav said, “Today a new record of betrayal has been made. The public will give a befitting reply to this. There can be no greater defeat than someone not believing in you as a person.” Congress spokesperson Surendra Rajput said that the BJP and a large section of the media want to show that the opposition ‘India’ alliance is broken and weak. He said, “In the coming days, you will see that despite whatever is happening in Bihar, the ‘India’ alliance is getting stronger.” Samajwadi Party (SP) formed an alliance with Congress for the Lok Sabha elections. Formal announcement was made on Saturday and seat distribution was finalized.

Akhilesh Yadav announced the alliance on social media platform ‘X’ on Saturday. He said in the post, “Our cordial alliance with Congress is off to a good start with 11 strong seats…this trend will move forward with the winning equation.” Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) )’s ally Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (Subhashpa) chief Om Prakash Rajbhar said, in politics everyone looks at their self-interest, profit, the party and the future of their people. He (Nitish) had gone to the India alliance to become the Prime Minister and when he was not accepted, he came here (to the NDA) to save his position. Rajbhar said this while reacting to Kumar’s resignation from the post of Chief Minister of Bihar. He said that while in West Bengal Mamata Banerjee has announced separation from India, the same is happening in Punjab also.

Rajbhar claimed, even in Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav is eager to separate from the Congress. He has announced 11 seats for Congress, but its leaders are saying that talks are still on and they want 25 seats. Sanjay Nishad, head of another NDA ally Nirbal Indian Shoshit Hamara Aam Dal (Nishad) and Fisheries Minister of Uttar Pradesh government, welcomed Kumar’s rejoining the NDA. Terming the ‘India’ alliance as a bridegroom’s procession, he said that everyone in the alliance wants to be the groom and it is not going to be successful. He said, political parties are meeting in alliance, but their hearts are not meeting.
