Nitish’s staunch opponent became Nitish’s deputy… What message has BJP given by crowning Samrat-Vijay? – samrat chaudhari vijay sinha new deputy cm bjp nitish kumar govt jdu nda political message ntc bikt

There is Nitish government in Bihar but the alliance partners have changed. In the Nitish Kumar government, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Congress and Left have now been replaced by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Hindustani Awam Morcha (Hum Party). Tejashwi Yadav has now become a two-time former Deputy CM. Bihar BJP President Samrat Chaudhary and former Bihar Assembly Speaker Vijay Sinha, who were the leaders of opposition in the Assembly till yesterday morning, are now Deputy CMs in the Nitish government. Both these leaders have been very vocal against Nitish Kumar and now making them Deputy CM in Nitish government has become a topic of discussion. What is the meaning of this step of BJP, what is the message for Nitish Kumar and the people of Bihar? Talks are being held regarding this also.

Some are linking the move of making Samrat and Vijay Sinha as Deputy CMs to the mathematics of OBC and general category votes, while others are calling it an attempt to strengthen the Luv-Kush equation through the Nitish-Samrat duo. Nitish Kumar is from Kurmi caste and Samrat is from Koeri caste. Both the castes belong to the backward class and this equation has also been the basis of Nitish’s politics. Even when Samrat was made the state president, the discussion was that BJP has made Samrat the state president in an attempt to break the Luv-Kush equation of Nitish. Now that Samrat has been made the Deputy CM, the Luv-Kush equation is again being discussed but is it just that?

Both leaders Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Sinha have been known to be staunch opponents of Nitish. Samrat Chaudhary had even been saying about the Muretha (safa) tied on his head that it would open only when Nitish Kumar was removed from the Chief Minister’s chair. When Vijay Sinha was the speaker, there was a heated discussion with CM Nitish Kumar inside the House. At that time Nitish was leading the NDA government. In the year 2022, Nitish Kumar had lashed out at Speaker Vijay Sinha in the Assembly and had said in a loud voice that will you run the House like this? We will not let this happen. you are mistaken.

Nitish Kumar took oath as CM for the ninth time

Vijay Sinha had also linked it to insulting the legislature and clearly said that we will not let this happen. After the altercation between the Speaker and the CM, the proceedings of the Assembly had to be adjourned for three days. After Nitish broke ties with NDA and joined the Grand Alliance, BJP had given the responsibility of Leader of Opposition to Vijay Sinha. Now that BJP has placed these two leaders around Nitish, questions are being raised that what is the strategy behind this?

Nitish is CM, not Supreme

The appointment of Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Sinha as deputy CMs in the new government is being seen as a message to JDU, bureaucracy and the people of Bihar that Nitish is the CM but not supreme. Regarding this, senior journalist of Bihar Omprakash Ashk said that making these two leaders Deputy CM is a clear indication that even though BJP has made Nitish Kumar the CM, it is not going to give supremacy. This is a kind of siege of Nitish due to which he will not be able to do as per his wish.

Government will run on BJP’s terms

After Nitish’s return to NDA, everyone from big to small leaders of Bihar BJP was seen trying to give the same message that the government will follow the policies of NDA. At the same time, the message was given by JDU that we will move forward only on our concept of seven determinations. On the very first day of the alliance, when the new government had not even been sworn in, such a contradiction came to the fore. Chirag Paswan, head of NDA constituent Lok Janshakti Party, has been a staunch opponent of the seven resolutions. By making Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Sinha as Deputy CMs, BJP has tried to give the message that the government will run on its terms.

Nitish Kumar resigned in the morning and took oath as CM for the ninth time in the evening.

Nitish came, we did not go

Home Minister Amit Shah, in an interview given to a newspaper a few days ago, had said on the question of Nitish’s return to NDA that if a proposal comes from his side, he will consider it. Now JDU has returned to NDA. The top leadership of both the parties should know whether Nitish Kumar made a proposal regarding this or JDU was approached by BJP, but BJP’s strategy is to give the message that it is they who have come. we did not go. A big example of this was seen in the process from the resignation of Nitish as CM to the handing over of the letter of support to BJP.

Actually, Nitish Kumar wanted BJP to give letters of support from its MLAs and after that he should submit his resignation from the post of Chief Minister to the Governor. On the other hand, BJP was adamant on first resignation and then support. In the end, Nitish Kumar had to resign from the CM post without meeting the Governor without a letter of support. After Nitish’s resignation from the CM post, his close aide Sanjay Jha went to the BJP office and made a formal request for support. A meeting of the BJP legislature party was held and in this meeting a formal decision was taken to support JDU, Samrat Chaudhary was elected the leader of the legislature party, Vijay Sinha was elected deputy leader.

It was certain that there would be an alliance between BJP and JDU but still this was only a formality. From Bihar BJP President Samrat Chaudhary to all the party leaders, they were seen trying to convey the same message that Sanjay Jha had come to seek support. On his request, a decision was taken to support JDU in the interest of Bihar.
