Modi and Workers: Prime Minister Narendra Modi showered flowers on those laboring for the construction of Lord Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya. Once again the Prime Minister did not forget to respect the laborers.

Modi has started the tradition of appreciating the labor of a Prime Minister and publicly expressing his gratitude for it in India.

Even though different companies involved in the construction of the temple had given salaries and allowances etc. to their workers, when everyone was respected together, everyone became overwhelmed with emotions. There has now become a series of honors given to laborers by Prime Minister Modi.

When PM took food prasad with workers in Kashi

In December, 2021, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the corridor of Kashi Vishwanath Dham. During this time, he met the workers constructing the corridor, inquired about their well-being, talked a lot and showered flowers on them with respect. Along with this, PM Modi also had lunch sitting at the table with him. This honor was unique for the workers.

Honored the workers by washing their feet

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had reached Prayagraj in February 2019. Where PM Modi washed the feet of 5 sanitation workers in a brass plate and expressed his gratitude to them by giving them undergarments. Breakfast with workers in Riyadh

In April 2016, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had reached the residential complex of L&T employees in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. During this time, PM Modi had breakfast sitting with those Indian workers. Then Prime Minister Modi tweeted a picture and wrote, Eating together at the L&T Workers Residential Complex in Saudi Arabia and listening to each other’s thoughts and experiences. The workers also praised the Prime Minister for his goodwill.

PM Modi also met workers in Qatar

The Prime Minister reached Qatar in June 2016. There he met Indian workers at the Workers Medical Camp in the capital Doha and had dinner with them. During this, he also heard the problems of Indian laborers which Indians have to face in Gulf countries.

After meeting Indian laborers living in the Gulf country Qatar, PM Modi had assured that he will raise their problems in his talks with the leaders here. He also said that he is aware of the problems faced by the companies bringing Indian workers here and he will try to remove them.

Appreciation of Parliament House workers

In September, 2021, Prime Minister Narendra Modi suddenly reached the construction site of the new Parliament building. Where he interacted with the laborers working on the site and inspected the site. PM Modi told the workers that they are engaged in a sacred and historic work. He greatly appreciated his contribution.

Phone conversation with 41 laborers stranded in Uttarkashi

In November 2023, when 41 laborers trapped in the tunnel were rescued safely after a 17-day rescue operation in the Silkyara Tunnel in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, PM Modi spoke to all the 41 laborers on phone immediately after their medical examination. To know about his well-being and boost his morale.

Also, PM Modi praised the soldiers who made the rescue operation successful and said that their bravery and determination has given new life to our labor brothers. Everyone involved in this mission has set an amazing example of humanity and teamwork.
