Lok Sabha elections: ruling party’s emphasis in campaigning in UP, opposition missing

[ad_1]

Lucknow:

The first phase of nomination for the Lok Sabha elections has been completed. But the opposition party’s campaign is not visible on the ground. Especially the main opposition parties of UP, SP, Congress and BSP are still seen entangled in candidate selection. Whereas the ruling party BJP has started campaigning vigorously through enlightened conferences and election conduct before the end of the first phase of nominations.

Political experts say that BJP was the first to release the list for Lok Sabha elections. After this, the big stalwarts of the party not only contested the nomination on all the eight seats but also showed their strength by holding public meetings. BJP state president Bhupendra Chaudhary himself was present at many places. Organization Minister Dharampal Singh has taken command in Western UP to give booster dose to the organization. Where they are not able to reach, they are also taking feedback. Before the first phase, he himself will reach there to give double the speed to the workers from booth to district. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has started the campaign through the enlightened conference. He is continuously holding enlightened conferences and public meetings till the first phase of elections. Apart from this, we are also taking our alliance partner along with us. He is also seen in the nomination. Many public meetings of Jayant Chaudhary have also been announced in Western UP. PM Modi’s rally is proposed in Meerut on March 31.

Senior political analyst Amodkant Mishra says that on the one hand, the ruling party BJP is campaigning vigorously for the first phase of elections. From PM to CM are continuously holding public meetings. BJP is standing strong from booth to assembly. At the same time, the opposition party does not seem to be doing anything special in the elections. Even though SP has fielded candidates on most of the seats. But mutual coordination does not seem to have been achieved yet. Take the case of Rampur or Moradabad. Due to mutual discord here, workers and supporters are in a state of confusion. At the same time, no common program of the alliance has been seen yet.

Congress spokesperson Anshu Awasthi says that India is going into the elections with a coalition strategy, BJP MPs themselves are leaving the tickets. Because the youth of the country – farmers, common man, women, middle businessmen – are very angry with the way unemployment, inflation, corruption, especially corruption in electoral bonds, have emerged in the last 10 years. BJP knows that India Alliance has 70 percent votes, now the people of the country have understood that only the policies of Congress can take the country on the path of development.

BJP spokesperson Anand Dubey says that BJP remains in election mode 24 hours. The entire system right from our booth is strong. People want development. He has full faith in Modi ji’s guarantee. The opposition is at loggerheads with each other. Our publicity system is running on a very large scale. Our campaign of one phase has also ended. All the leaders are in the field for campaigning. From the Chief Minister to the Prime Minister, everyone’s public meetings are being held. The opposition is not visible far and wide.
