Chhattisgarh News: Naiduniya Representative, Raipur. The investigation into scams that took place during the previous Bhupesh Baghel government of Chhattisgarh has gained momentum. On the application of the Central Enforcement Directorate (ED), the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) has now registered two new FIRs in the Mustum Milling and District Mineral Fund (DMF) scams. Based on the ED report, the ACB-Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) has registered the names of several IAS-IPS including IAS Ranu Sahu in both the cases.

The names of mineral officials, contractors and owners of several companies have also been included in the FIR. Earlier, crimes were registered against 106 people including Congress leaders and government officials in the coal and liquor scam.

According to the report, DMF money was misappropriated on a large scale in Korba district during the previous Congress government. Many departmental officers including the then Collector Ranu Sahu have also been found involved in this irregularity.

According to the complaint, in many tenders, 40 percent of the amount has been given directly to the officers. Not only this, but a private company has also been given commission at different rates of 15 to 20 percent for these tenders. Similarly, in many districts of the state, huge financial irregularities in DMF have caused damage to the government.

Bills with many times higher prices were passed

According to the report, Korba The officers along with the then Collector Ranu Sahu connived with the tender filer. In order to get bills passed in the allotment of tenders for works to be done with DMF money, bills worth many times more than the actual value of the goods were passed.

Among the contractors who were benefited by these officers, crime has also been registered against Sanjay Shende, Ashok Kumar Agarwal, Mukesh Kumar Agarwal, Rishabh Soni and middlemen Manoj Kumar Dwivedi, Ravi Sharma, Piyush Soni, Piyush Sahu, Abdul, Shekhar.

This is how the game played in custom milling

On the Enforcement Directorate report it was found that chhattisgarh The custom milled rice is deposited in Civil Supplies Corporation and FCI by various rice millers. In this process, illegal amount was recovered on per quintal basis through corruption on a large scale and by misusing their position, various government officials colluded with rice millers to get benefits and caused financial loss to the government.

Preetika Pooja was instructed by Roshan Chandrakar through Manoj Soni, Managing Director Markfed, to pay the bills of those rice millers whose recovery amount was received by Roshan Chandrakar. Information about which rice millers were to be paid was received by the Rice Millers Association of the concerned district through Manoj Soni. Recently, cash worth Rs 1.06 crore was seized during the search operation conducted by the Income Tax Department. Illegal recovery of approximately Rs 140 crore has been found from rice millers.

Case against them in custom milling

The custom milling rice is deposited by rice millers in Civil Supplies Corporation and FCI. There was widespread corruption and recovery of illegal amount on the basis of per quintal by the then Managing Director of Markfed Manoj Soni and the then District Marketing Officer Preetika Pooja Kerketta Korba by misusing their positions while serving as public servants, Chhattisgarh State. A criminal conspiracy was hatched with Rice Millers Association President Kailash Rungta, Vice President Parsamal Chopra and Treasurer Roshan Chandrakar. Crime has been registered against everyone.
