On the basis of the collected evidence and statements, the statements of the complainant and the medical report, the crime of murder was registered against the 4 accused who murdered the deceased Hariom Shukla, Abhishek Singh Parihar, Akash Yadav alias Akash Dauwa, Awadhesh Pratap Singh alias Rasu Raja and Shivam Soni alias Shubham. Investigation and search for the accused was started.

Chhatarpur Superintendent of Police Agam Jain formed a special team and was continuously reviewing the crime since the time of the incident. The three main accused of the murder, Akash Yadav alias Akash Dauwa, resident of Irrigation Colony, Awadhesh Pratap Singh alias Rasu Raja, resident of Chaitgiri Colony and Shivam Soni alias Shubham, age 28, resident of Fouladi Kalam, were going in an auto to escape from Deri Road. All three accused were taken into custody and interrogated, who confessed to the crime and cited old rivalry as the reason for the murder.

Among the three accused, Akash Yadav had an illegal .32 bore pistol used in the incident, two live cartridges, a mobile phone, an Alto 800 car, Rasu Raja had a 315 bore country-made pistol with an empty cartridge in its chamber, 3 numbers of mobile phones were confiscated. Two mobile phones were seized from accused Shivam Soni. During the investigation, the suspects are taken into custody and the search for the main accused Abhishek Singh Parihar is going on.
