Bhopal News: If non-veg restaurant is running in the building then building permission will have to be given.

Bhopal News:Bhopal. If a non-veg restaurant is running in your building, then the documents related to permission from the building will have to be submitted to the Municipal Corporation. For the first time, such a campaign has been started in Bhopal. On Wednesday, the corporation’s teams served notices to non-veg hotel operators running in different areas of the city and asked them to present the documents related to building permission within seven days. NGT’s instructions have been cited in the notice. After the issue of the notice, there is an atmosphere of panic among the hotel operators.

In fact, the National Green Tribunal Board recently took major action against air polluters and completely banned the use of tandoor-furnaces running outside hotels. On the orders of NGT, the Municipal Corporation along with the Pollution Control Board launched a campaign in the city to stop the use of tandoor-furnace and imposed fines and confiscated the furnaces. The Pollution Control Board again launched a campaign in November to cross-check this action. The shops where tandoor-furnaces were found again were sealed and the license of the hotel was cancelled. Now in the continuation of this campaign, the building permission branch of the corporation has started serving notices to the hotel operators.

Permission is being sought only from hotel operators

On Wednesday, the teams of the Building Permission Branch of the Municipal Corporation served notices to the hotel operators of the city. Building permission is being sought in this. These notices have been sent especially to non-veg hotels. The sub-engineer of the corporation giving the notice said that on the instructions of NGT, notice is being given only to non-veg hotels. They are being asked to present documents related to permission within seven days. These papers will have to be submitted inbound and outbound in the license branch building located at Shahpura.

What will happen if there is no permission?

The building in which non-veg hotels are being operated. The corporation has no answer as to what further action to take if their permission is not received. On the condition of not revealing his identity, the sub engineer of the corporation said that our job is only to check the permissions. No order has been received regarding what action will be taken if permission is not granted.

Instructions have been received only for 22 restaurants

Building Permission Branch Chief City Planner Neeraj Anand Likhar said that NGT has given instructions for 22 restaurants in Ashoka Garden 80 Feet Road. The petitioner had mentioned only this area. Our team has identified 17 restaurants. The remaining 5 restaurants were found closed, other shops were operating in their place. Therefore, permission related documents have been sought from only 17.
