Ashoknagar, Navdunia Representative. The court has sentenced a father who murdered his own daughter in village Parvai of Shadhaura police station area to life imprisonment. The accused had strangled his own daughter to trap his wife and her lover. The special thing is that the accused first wanted to kill his son, but the deceased had requested him to save her innocent brother. The incident is of 19 October 2021. Complainant Shripal, resident of village Parvai, had given a report to the police that Rajpal told him that his brother Himmat Singh’s daughter Sarita was lying dead in her house. Then he went to Himmat Singh’s house and saw that Sarita was lying dead, and Himmat Singh was unconscious. During investigation it was found that Sarita was murdered by her father Himmat Singh by hanging her around her neck.

The reason was that Himmat Singh’s wife was having a love affair with another man. The accused opposed this and tried to convince his wife, but she did not agree. To take revenge for this and falsely implicate his wife and her lover, he told his daughter Sarita on the night of the incident that he would kill their child and file a false case against both of them. Then Sarita said don’t do anything to brother, kill me. On this, the accused tied a scarf around Sarita’s neck and hanged her with an iron rod. Even after this Sarita did not die, he grabbed the dupatta and pulled it with his hand, due to which Sarita suffocated.

The child was also taught a false lesson

After killing Sarita, the accused told his minor son that I will lie down unconscious and you go to Rajpal Tau’s place in the morning and give false information that mother, her lover and other people had come, who killed Sarita and went away. During the investigation of the case, the minor son of the accused told the police about the incident that his sister Sarita was murdered by his father. Thereafter, after thorough investigation, the police presented the charge sheet against accused Himmat Singh, the father of the deceased, before the court. It is noteworthy that the minor son of the accused, who was an eyewitness to the incident, gave evidence against the accused before the court, on the basis of which, after the trial, the court found the accused guilty in the case and passed a verdict of conviction against him.
