In a big state like Uttar Pradesh, 33 thousand Ayushman cards were made in a single day, while Surguja district took an innovative initiative to provide health security to every person by making more than 50 thousand Ayushman cards by 5 pm. Collector Kundan Kumar inspected the Ayushman Card Mahabhiyan and encouraged all the officers and employees engaged in it. With the coordinated efforts of all, the Maha Abhiyan got historic success. With a better action plan, the Ayushman Card Maha Abhiyan was started in the district since morning. Enthusiasm was seen among the people from the city to the rural areas for this campaign. The campaign was going on even after 5 pm, it is clear that there will be further increase in the record figures of making Ayushman cards in a day. Health, Education, Forest, Women and Child Development, Panchayat, Urban Area, with mutual coordination of all the departments, Ayushman Card Mahabhiyan was run throughout the day.

Surguja made a high jump, the district reached the third place

Collector Kundan Kumar said that for the safety of health, it is necessary that all citizens get their Ayushman cards made on priority. With tireless hard work and coordination by the officers, actively worked towards making Ayushman cards. As a result of which more than 50 thousand new Ayushman cards have been made in the district in a single day. The collector expressed his gratitude to all those who played Saba Geeta directly and indirectly in this campaign. With Friday’s progress, so far seven lakh 40 thousand 765 Ayushman cards have been made in the district. Surguja was at 20th position in the state of Chhattisgarh in the ranking of issuing Ayushman cards till a month and a half ago. After the Mahabhiyan on Friday, Surguja has come third in the state with 82 percent achievement.

Team reached remote Vananchal

In Mahabhiyan, the team reached from the city to remote Vananchal. Ayushman cards were made for old people, youth, children and disabled people. Ayushman card was made for a 95-year-old elderly woman in Gram Panchayat Khaliba. Ayushman card was made for 80-year-old Kunia Ekka, who came from Sunderpur, Majhapara. The Mahabhiyan was a relief for the Divyangs. Ayushman Card Mahabhiyan reached remote forests like Korima, Bansa, Kudar Jherilongi of Surguja. Lundra block at the forefront

Lundra development block of Surguja district is at the forefront in making Ayushman card. Along with fulfilling the target of making 5000 Ayushman cards in the Maha Abhiyan, Ayushman cards of more than 90 percent people have been made in Lundra development block so far. In second place is Batauli development block. Ayushman card has been made for about 84 percent people here. The achievement of all the remaining blocks is 80 per cent or below. After the campaign, the work of making Ayushman cards has picked up pace in these blocks as well.

Ayushman card is necessary for free health facility. Under the scheme, eligible BPL families can get the benefit of Rs 5 lakh and APL families can get the benefit of free treatment through Ayushman card in any registered government and private hospital. Under the Chief Minister’s Special Health Assistance Scheme, health assistance up to Rs 20 lakh is being provided for other additional serious diseases under the Chief Minister’s Special Health Assistance Scheme. Ayushman card is mandatory to get benefits under the Chief Minister’s Special Health Assistance Scheme.
