The first Aastha special train from Jabalpur to Ayodhya will leave from platform 1 of Jabalpur railway station today. In this train of 22 coaches, 1341 passengers have made their reservation for Ayodhya. In this, 1050 passengers will board from Jabalpur and the remaining will board the train from Narsinghpur, Itarsi, Bhopal stations. 22 coaches have been installed in the Aastha special train, out of which 20 coaches will be sleeper and the remaining 2 will be parcel coaches. Jabalpur Railway Division has prepared the rakes of Aastha special train. It will be parked on platform one by 12 noon on Tuesday, so that passengers can sit comfortably. It is noteworthy that this train first started on 30th January. Second Aastha Special leaves on 16th February, route and journey shortened

The second Aastha special train is going to leave from Jabalpur on 16th February. Railways will take this train from Jabalpur to Ayodhya via Katni-Satna. Because of this, the train journey will take only 11 hours and the distance will be 531 km. However, the train leaving today will cover a distance of approximately 1213 hundred kilometres. Because of this this train will reach Ayodhya in 22 hours. On February 27 also, the third Aastha special will leave from Jabalpur, but the Railways will take it to Ayodhya from Jabalpur, Itarsi, Bhopal via Jhansi.

While the responsibility of operating the Ayodhya special train has been given to Railways, the responsibility of passenger facilities in the train has been given to IRCTC. 1340 passengers traveling in this train will get food and bedrolls in the train itself. Not only this, arrangements have also been made for their stay in Ayodhya. The special train will also bring passengers back to Jabalpur from Ayodhya. Aastha special train leaving on 13th will return on 16th February. This train will leave Ayodhya at 9.20 pm and reach Jabalpur at 6.13 pm the next day. This train will also reach Jabalpur in 22 hours. However, instead of tickets, the passengers traveling in this train have been given boarding passes, which are being issued from the city BJP office.

Understand reservation like this

  • Three trips of Aastha Special will leave from Jabalpur, this train will go on 13, 16 and 27 February.
  • Passengers traveling in the train will have to go to the BJP city president office and make reservation.
  • They will have to provide Aadhaar card and their reservation related information, which will go directly to IRCTC.
