After Reliance, among the top-3 most valuable companies, Tata Group’s tech giant TCS is at third place with a market capitalization of Rs 12.4 lakh crore, while HDFC Bank is at third place with a market capitalization of Rs 11.3 lakh crore. Regarding HDFC Bank, it has been said in the ranking report that after the merger of HDFC and HDFC Bank, this bank has become the third entity in India to cross the market capital of Rs 10 lakh crore.

If we talk about the top-10 companies included in this list in terms of valuation, then ICICI Bank is at the fourth position, whose market capitalization is Rs 6.47 lakh crore. The fifth most valuable company is Infosys led by NR Narayana Murthy with Rs 5.71 lakh crore. Sunil Mittal’s Bharti Airtel has a market cap of Rs 5.55 lakh crore and with this figure it is at sixth position.

The name of ITC is included in the seventh place in the Hurun list, whose market cap is Rs 5.36 lakh crore. Apart from this, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is at eighth place with mcap of Rs 4.02 lakh crore, HCL Technologies (HCL Tech) is at ninth place with market capital of Rs 3.43 lakh crore and Kotak Mahindra Bank with value of Rs 3.41 lakh crore. ) is making a comeback in the list at tenth position.
Big jump in market capital
The companies of the country which have been included in the Burgundy Private Hurun India 500 list of the year 2023, are providing employment to approximately 70 lakh people. According to the report, there are an average of 15,211 employees per organization and women are represented on the boards of 437 companies in the list. According to Hurun, the total market capital of these companies increased to Rs 231 lakh crore, whereas in the same period a year ago this figure was Rs 226 lakh crore.
