Amidst the ongoing standoff on the India-China border, Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will be on a three-day visit to Ladakh from today i.e. Monday. Here the Defense Minister will take stock of the preparations on the border. At the same time, two blasts took place at the Air Force station in Jammu even before Rajnath Singh reached Ladakh. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh interacted with the army chiefs on the Jammu blast and inquired about the situation.

There was a stir at the Air Force station of Jammu and Kashmir after hearing the sound of blasts twice in a span of 5 minutes late in the night. The first blast took place on the roof of the building and the second blast took place on the ground. At the same time, the Air Force says that only the roof was damaged in the blast and there was no damage.

The defense official said that the first blast occurred at 1:37 pm and the second at 1:42 pm. However, there is no report of anyone getting injured in the blast. As a precaution, police and forensic teams have reached the spot and are investigating. It is being told that in a short time the team of AIA and NSG will also reach the Air Force station and investigate.
