As soon as the graph of Corona comes down in Jammu and Kashmir, the preparations for Amarnath Yatra have started once again. Although it has not been formally announced. Meanwhile, Shri Amarnath Shrine Board has given permission to some langar organizations to anchor the Baltal track from June 28 to August 22. For this, by June 19, residential addresses, phone numbers, police verification reports, two passport size photographs, mandatory medical certificates issued by recognized doctors / medical institutions have been sought from the anchor organizations.

The organizations have been asked to report by contacting the designated Camp Director/General Manager (Work) along with the travel schedule on June 20. Certain conditions have also been laid for langar. With the permission for langar, the fragrance about the journey has intensified. The traditional Baltal track has been almost cleared.

Some langar organizations have been given permission for langar for the Amarnath Yatra starting June 28, officially announced. However, other works are also going on on Baltal track, due to which they will also be given the benefit of langar services. In the conditions issued to the Langar organizations, they have to maintain proper cleanliness in the kitchen/cooking area. This area has to be covered with PVC sheet (2mm thick). Apart from this, other important Kovid guidelines will have to be followed.

Sevadars will follow face masks, social distancing, non-crowding etc. on a regular basis. In view of the COVID pandemic, food will not be allowed at langar sites to avoid overcrowding and packed food will be distributed to the people. One of the langar organizations that got permission is Barfani Seva Mandal, Haryana. An official of the Shrine Board said that no official decision has been taken on the yatra yet, but the Baltal track has been almost cleared up to the holy cave. Other works are also going on on this track. Security forces have already been deployed on the track.

Fury over allowing limited anchor organizations
Rajan Gupta, General Secretary, Shri Amarnath Barfani Langar Organization (SABLO) has expressed anger over the Shrine Board allowing limited langar organizations. He said that no formal announcement has been made by the board for the yatra yet, what is the logic of allowing some langar organizations on that. The board should make its position clear, so that other langar organizations can also make their preparations. At present the board seems unable to make the journey.

Aarti will also be telecast live this year
Like last year, this time too the Shrine Board will broadcast the Aarti live from the holy Amarnath cave. For this, there will be a live telecast of Aarti from Holy Cave on MHOne Prime channel from June 28 to August 22 at 6 am to 6.30 pm and from 5 to 5.30 pm.
