The wait is finally over as Thalapathy Vijay’s first look from his upcoming film Thalapathy 66 is finally out. Also starring Rashmika Mandanna, the film is helmed by Vamshi Paidipally, who wrote the story of Thalapathy 66 with Hari and Ahishor Solomon.

The makers of Thalapathy 66 wrapped the second schedule in Hyderabad in May. After keeping us waiting for long, they have released the first look of Thalapathy Vijay from the upcoming flick today, June 21. In the poster, the actor can be seen looking stylish in a gray suit. He completed his breath-taking look with black formal shoes and a wristwatch.

RASHMIKA MANDANNA IS THE LEADING LADY IN THALPATHY 66
While speculations have been rife for a long time that Rashmika Mandanna will play the leading lady opposite Thalapathy Vijay in Thalapathy 66, the development was confirmed by the film’s makers on her birthday, April 5. Sharing the same, production house Sri Venkateswara Creations’ Twitter handle said, “Wishing the talented and gorgeous @iamRashmika a very Happy Birthday ! ABOUT THALPATHY 66
It is now confirmed that Rashmika Mandanna will play the female lead in South superstar Vijay’s Thalapathy 66. This will mark their first on-screen pairing. Rumors had it that Pooja Hegde and Kiara Advani were also considered to play the female lead. However, Rashmika has been finally roped in. The film might see the light of the day on Diwali 2022 or Sankranti 2023. Thalapathy 66 is jointly bankrolled by Dil Raju and Shirish of Sri Venkateswara Creations.
