Schools have welcomed students back after the lockdown. But even then there are stories of separation anxiety and stress among students who are trying their best to adjust to offline schooling. Keeping this in mind, Genesis Global School (GGS), Noida, organized a summer camp for children from May 25, 2022 to June 15, 2022.
The summer camp helped children develop skills beyond textbooks to facilitate holistic personality development. More than 60 students from Noida and nearby areas enthusiastically participated in this 20-day-long summer camp. The camp had a variety of activities related to sports, music, and theatre, including basketball, shooting, soccer, swimming, singing, dancing, and Barry John’s Acting Classes.
Vacations are for students to take time away from academics and studies, and summer camps like these are indeed a good way to help children constructively utilize their time. Subie Issac Srivastava, GM, GGS, says “We want to give them a platform where they can discover their talents and hone their skills.”

Along with all the fun, the kids were also taught the importance of nutrition as they were served healthy meals from the school’s kitchen. Post the conclusion of the summer camp on June 15, these activities will be open for children of other schools as an ‘After-School Programme’ from July 11 onwards.
