Indian Air Force has come up with a new recruitment for the candidates who want to serve their nation. For the recruitment they have come up an entrance exam. This exam is known as The Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT). AFCAT 2 Online Apply 2022 – The AFCAT exam is an exam that has been conducted twice every year for jobs in the Indian Air Force. The posts that come under this exam are Ground Duty jobs and Jobs in Flying Branch. The official number of vacancies has not been confirmed yet but it will soon be updated. It has been expected that there will be around 283 vacancies. The short notification for the exam was released by IAF on 19^th May 2022.

The official detailed notification for the recruitment was released on the 1^st June 2022. The online application process for the recruitment has also been started from 1^st June 2022. Many interested and eligible candidates have applied for the recruitment on the official website of IAF. All the candidates who are planning to apply should hurry up because the last date to apply for the recruitment is 30^th June 2022.

The exam has been scheduled to be conducted on 26^th August 2022 to 28^th August 2022 in different examination centers round India. There are many stages in the selection process. Firstly candidates have to clear AFCAT exam. The AFCAT exam will consist of 2 different papers. One paper is AFCAT and another one is Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT). The candidates who will clear the AFCAT exam will be provided with call letters for next stages.

AFCAT Eligibility Criteria 2022

Eligibility Criteria for the Application of AFCAT:

A candidate must be a citizen of India.
The minimum age to apply for the exam is 20 Years Old.
The maximum age to apply for the exams for the job in flying branch is 24 Years Old.
The maximum age to apply for the exams for the job in Ground Jobs is 26 Years Old.
The candidates below the age of 25 years must be unmarried.
A candidate must have B.TECH in aeronautical engineering from any recognized board or university with 60 percent marks.

There is also some application fee to apply for the exam. The application fee for AFCAT is Rs. 250 for all the candidates. As mentioned earlier the exam was divided into 2 exams. First one is AFCAT and the other one is EKT. AFCAT exam consisted of 100 multiple choice questions about verbal ability, numerical ability, reasoning, general awareness and military aptitude.

3 marks will be awarded for each correct answer. The time given to complete the exam was 2 hours. There was also negative marking in exam. 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. While in EKT (Engineering Knowledge Test), there will be 50 questions. The exam was of 150 marks. The time given to complete the exam was 45 minutes.
