In the evening, more children boarded the boat than its capacity. Other people were also standing on the shore waiting for the boat. When the boat reached the middle of the Sindh river after covering a distance of about 75 meters, the balance started deteriorating due to the movement of the girl. When the boat left Tehangur, 10-year-old Om’s father Subhash Baghel and Draupadi’s father Sukhdin Baghel were standing on the shore. About 10 people with them were waiting for the boat to return. Suddenly the boat capsized in the middle of the river. Seeing the boat overturning, 30-year-old Devendra Kumar son Rajaram Kumar, resident of Bada Hilgawan drowned in the river for rescue work. Malkhan, Devraj, Pawan, Kailash, Sukhdin, standing on the shore with them, also jumped into the river for rescue work. Subhash and Sukhdin also landed in the river. Maya Devi husband Dashrath Singh Baghel, resident of Hilgawan, Preeti daughter Chhotelal, Payal daughter Chhotelal, Khushboo son Sultan Singh, Ganpat Singh Kushwaha, who was driving the boat and children were rescued, but Om and Draupadi were not found. This brought tears to the eyes of both of their fathers. All the villagers searched again, but even after this no clue of both was found. The villagers informed the police. As soon as the information was received, Nayagaon police station in-charge Harjendra Singh Chauhan, Raun police station TI Narendra Kushwaha, Machand outpost in-charge Dhyanendra Singh Yadav left with the May force. The search work was started from both the sides of the river. Even during this, SDERF has been called if there is no success.
