Vivek Sachdwa, 30, is an automobile trader in Karol Bagh. In the second wave, his entire family got infected. In this family of seven members, three people have died due to corona infection. Vivek is currently admitted in the ICU of BLK Hospital located at Rajendra Place. For the last 12 days, doctors are not able to know what is the problem with Vivek? His fever is consistently around 100 degrees. From HR CT to all other investigations have been done, but the reason is not clear yet. The presence of the virus on the lungs has not been found. Doctors say that this is a post Kovid case.

Similarly, 28-year-old Junaid and 35-year-old Vikas Kumar are admitted in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) these days. Both the patients are related to post covid. Junaid recovered from the infection, but he developed pulmonary fibrosis. Vikas Kumar is being given dialysis due to non-functioning of pus and kidney in the liver.
When ‘Amar Ujala’ contacted different hospitals of the capital regarding post covid cases, it came to know that most of the major government and private hospitals these days have maximum number of ICU patients post covid. After a month, if there is no relief in breathing, then someone complains of fever or abdominal pain. There are also many people who also have symptoms related to mental health such as stress, anxiety and fear.

Talking about government hospitals, 82 patients are admitted in AIIMS, 12 in Lady Hardinge Medical College, 76 in RML Hospital. Apart from these, big private hospitals including Apollo, Max Saket, Fortis and BLK have more than 300 post COVID cases. It is worth noting that the oxygen level of most of the patients has also improved and the corona report is negative, but the symptoms are quite strange, which is quite complicated to understand easily.

Multiple symptoms in the same patient
AIIMS doctors say that post-Covid cases have come up with a lot of challenges. Dr. Karan Madan told that in cases of pulmonary, many symptoms are being found in the same patient. Even after checking several times, the correct information is not available. At the same time, Dr. Vinod Kumar of Safdarjung Hospital told that he has four such patients in whom the exact reason has not been known till now. Efforts are being made for these patients, so that any problem can be detected.

Virus making chronic diseases serious
Dr. Amit of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in New Delhi told that many cases are related to post Kovid in his place. So far, they have noticed one important thing that people who got serious corona infection and were saved, such patients have been re-admitted after a few days. In these, diabetes or high blood pressure or cancer was hidden somewhere before the infection, which has now become serious.

Nothing in the investigation, but the patient has trouble
During the post Kovid, many such cases are also being found now that the patients are upset. Nothing was found during examination at the hospital. To the doctors he is not a patient, but the said person is feeling that he is in trouble. He is not able to feel himself as healthy as before. In such cases psychiatrist OP Sharma recommends that these patients need adequate counseling. Without counseling it can go into further fear.
