A Kovid 19 hospital caught fire in Bharuch, Gujarat. 16 people have died in this incident. After the incident, the patients have been shifted from here. The cause of the fire is not yet known. It is being told that the fire started late on Friday (30 April) between 12:30 am to 1 pm. Many patients have also been injured in this incident. As soon as information was received about the incident, several fire brigade vehicles reached to extinguish the fire. Kovid Care Center for Corona patients was built in the first floor of Patel Welfare Hospital.
Bharuch SP Rajendrasinh Chudasama said that 14 patients undergoing treatment in the Kovid ward of this hospital died. At the same time, two nurses also lost their lives. About 50 people were resuscitated and have been admitted to another hospital.

According to the information, this four-storeyed hospital is located on the Bharuch-Jambusar highway. It is operated by a trust. Fire officer Shailesh Sansia said that the Kovid ward was built on the first floor of the hospital. The fire was brought under control within an hour. Also, around 50 people were rescued with the help of fire fighters and locals.
The doctors of the hospital expressed grief over this accident. Jubair Patel, trustee of Kovid Care Center said that this is a very unfortunate accident, which is not only for us, but for the whole of Bharuch. With the help of police and administration, we shifted patients to other hospitals. 14 patients and two nurses lost their lives in this accident.
