- Said – confidence is necessary for a self-reliant India
Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) while addressing a session organized on the importance of education, research and skill development for self-reliant India, has said that confidence of the youth of the country is equally essential for building a self-reliant India. Confidence comes only when the youth has complete confidence in his education, his knowledge. He said that confidence comes only when he realizes that his studies, the opportunity to do his work and the necessary skills are being given to him. The new National Education Policy is designed with this thinking in mind.

Prime Minister Modi said that the second biggest focus after health in this year’s budget is on education, skill, research and innovation. He said that the budget which has been made in the past years to link education with employment and entrepreneurial capacities, gives them further expansion. As a result of these efforts, today India has come in the top three countries in the matter of scientific publication. Narendra Modi said that for the first time, the focus is on the Atal Tinkering Labs in the country’s schools, from the Atal Incubation Center in higher institutions.
He said that keeping his knowledge, research, limited is a big injustice to the country’s strength. Be it space, atomic energy, DRDO, agriculture, the doors of many such sectors are being opened to their talented youth. Prime Minister Modi said that in the new National Education Policy, encouragement has been given for maximum use of local language. Now it is the responsibility of all the academics, experts of every language, how the good content of the country and the world should be prepared in Indian languages.

Prime Minister Modi also mentioned about the Hydrogen Mission. He said that future fuel, green energy is very important for self-reliance in our energy. Therefore, the Hydrogen Mission announced in the budget is a very big resolution. Narendra Modi said that India has tested the hydrogen vehicle. Now we have to move forward together to make hydrogen useful as a fuel for transport and to make ourselves industry ready for this.
Prime Minister Modi also mentioned farmers in his speech. He said, ‘To increase the income of farmers, the country has great expectations from the partners who have engaged in research related to biotechnology to improve their lives. I urge all the colleagues of the industry to increase their participation in it. He just said that today India’s talent is in demand all over the world.
