AAP’s big win in Delhi Municipal Corporation by-election

Trilokpuri Seat- Aam Aadmi Party’s Vijay Kumar won this seat by 4986 votes. He received a total of 12,845 votes, while second-ranked BJP representative Om Prakash got only 7,859 votes. This seat was also with the Aam Aadmi Party last time. The AAP councilors who were here earlier became MLAs, due to which this seat was vacated and now again the Aam Aadmi Party has won this seat.
Rohini Sea Seat- The Rohini seat has also been re-captured by the Aam Aadmi Party. Its candidate Ram Chander got a total of 14,328 votes, while BJP’s Rakesh, who finished second, got 11,343 votes. This seat was also with you earlier.
Shalimar Bagh seat- The Shalimar Bagh seat was held by the BJP last time, but this time the Aam Aadmi Party won it. AAP candidate Sunita Mishra defeated BJP’s Surabhi Jaju by 2,705 votes. Sunita garnered a total of 9764 votes and ensured her victory.
Chauhan Bangar Seat- Chauhan Bangar is the seat from where the Congress opened its account. In five seats where by-elections were held, this is the seat in which the margin of victory and defeat is very high. Chaudhary Zubair Ahmed of Congress defeated Mohammad Isharaq Khan of Aam Aadmi Party by 10,642 votes here. This seat was with AAP in the past, but this time the Congress captured it.
Kalyanpuri Seat- Dhirendra Kumar of AAP won from Kalyanpuri seat by 7,043 votes. He defeated Siya Ram Kannaujia of the Bharatiya Janata Party. This seat was also with AAP earlier, but this seat was vacant due to the councilor becoming an MLA.
