On the other hand, vaccines are being made available in private hospitals, for which the hospital will have to pay Rs 150 per dose. If the state government does not give this price to the hospital, then the Center has no objection to it.
Rs 250 per dose vaccine price
On the proposal of free vaccine, the Health Ministry officials said that the price of the vaccine has been fixed at Rs 250 per dose, of which Rs 100 is the cost of the hospital where the center is set up. 150 rupees will be given by the hospital to the center, which will be given to the vaccine manufacturer.
He told that if any state announces free vaccination, then the Center does not have any problem. The center is providing vaccine free to the states for government hospitals. But the state governments can afford to pay for private hospitals. However, there is a condition in this that the state government will have to pay the vaccine immediately without any delay.
