By the tireless efforts of the scientists, so far, many corona vaccines have been developed in the world and work is going on on some. In such a situation, to protect mankind, corona vaccination has become the first preference. Sadly, many kinds of confusion are being spread about the Corona vaccine. Especially in the Muslim world, in the last few days, there was a useless debate about its haram-halal. Thankfully, the faster the tornado got up, the sooner it stopped.
Actually it is not an issue at all. Such rumors were spread through some people, especially on social media to siege Muslims. Without any fact, the fact is that pig fat or gelatin is being used to make corona vaccines. Since eating pig is forbidden in Islam, it was said that corona vaccination is not permissible for Muslims. However, this was not confirmed by any organization or company making Corona. In Islam, the emphasis is on Hikmat (the best tip). Human life has been given great importance in Islam. In the Quran and Hadith it is said that if someone becomes desperate due to hunger after three days, then it is permissible to eat the dead or dead thing. In addition, if a haraam is used in something and its basic form changes in the process, it is still permissible in Islam to consume medicine. That is, according to the Shari’a, it is permissible to eat haraam to save life. At the same time, like the polio vaccine, a rumor of conspiracy to impotence was also spread through corona vaccines.
Muslims of the country and the world should not forget that Shehzade Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia, Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Almaktoum of the United Arab Emirates and Turkish President Rajab Tayyab have been vaccinated by Erdugan. The purpose of getting vaccinated ahead of these leaders was also to clear the confusion of people and motivate them for vaccination. Despite this, an attempt was made to spread such confusion among the Muslims of the world, which is completely baseless. The good thing is that all the reputed madrasas and religious institutions of the country including Darul Uloom Deoband, Jamia Salafia, Jamia Ashrafia immediately clarified in the light of Quran and Hadith and justified the corona vaccination. Through the Jamaat-e-Islami Hind and Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, there has been a call to spread awareness about the Corona vaccination and help the government. If seen in this way, there is no confusion among the Muslims, yet it is being tossed out.
Similar misconceptions were spread about the vaccine to be administered during the polio campaign for eradication of polio, after which the Ulema and Muslim intellectuals of India came forward and explained the Muslims. If the government succeeded in making the country polio free, then these ulemas and intellectuals have played an important role in it. Due to the misconceptions found in our neighboring country of Pakistan about polio vaccination campaign, there are still fatal attacks on the workers engaged in this work. Lakhs of children are still suffering from polio in Pakistani society, caught in the shackles of religious superstition.
Attempts are also being made to confuse the Muslims on the corona vaccination. Taking lessons from the Pulse Polio campaign, they should stay away from such complications. This is a case of saving humanity from a terrible epidemic like corona. Therefore, neither should anyone be allowed to spread unrestrained rumor nor should anyone get entangled in it. Avoidance of Corona is the only time and greatest human service.
