For the first time in the history of Jammu and Kashmir, it was only by the workers of the Congress party that there was a protest against their senior leader Ghulam Nabi Azad. Congress workers expressed anger at the burning of effigy outside their house on Tuesday after Ghulam Nabi Azad’s three-day visit to Jammu. Activists say that Ghulam Nabi Azad is trying to break up the Congress Party. He said that Ghulam Nabi Azad came to Jammu and praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi who withdrew all his rights from the people of Jammu.

On this occasion, the protesters said that Ghulam Nabi Azad is acting at the behest of the BJP government and is trying his best to break the Congress party. He demanded Sonia Gandhi that Ghulam Nabi Azad should be thrown out of the party at the earliest. He said that while Azad should use the experience for the Congress party, he is praising Prime Minister Modi instead of coming to Jammu and working for the party, which will not be tolerated.
