The third phase of corona vaccination will begin today. In this phase, people over 60 years of age will be vaccinated. At the same time, those aged above 45 years who are suffering from serious diseases will be given preference in vaccination. In this regard, the Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan has written a letter to the Chief Secretaries of the states. States have been asked by the Center to make arrangements for vaccination on a large scale in all types of health centers. Vaccination is also to be started from March 1 onwards for people over 60 years of age and sick. They have been asked to make arrangements from hospitals, medical colleges, primary health centers to sub-centers. It has been asked to prepare the necessary coldchains in these centers for vaccination.

The Chief Secretaries of all the states have been asked by the Center to ensure that the corona vaccination program is run at least four days a week and from March 1, it should be in extended format. Along with this, the Chief Secretaries have been asked to issue instructions to the health authorities in this regard. States have also been told by the Center that in the vaccination that started on January 16, there are still a large number of health workers who have not got the corona vaccine.

Instructions issued to state governments
Such people have been asked to apply the vaccine soon. Necessary arrangements have also been made in Kovin to register the age over 60 years. Let us know that the government has already announced that in March, the third category, which is more than 60 years of age, will be vaccinated. The number of people over 60 years of age and sick people is estimated to be around 27 crores.

Matters started rising again in many states

A dose of vaccine in private hospitals costs Rs 250
The central government has fixed the price of one dose of corona vaccine at Rs 250, which will be available in private hospitals for people above 60 years of age and those above 45 years of age with serious illnesses. Sources gave this information on Saturday. According to sources, the vaccination will begin from March 1. However, the price change is possible on the official announcement in this regard. The government has decided that people will be vaccinated free of cost in government hospitals.
