On the continuing discord in the party over the alliance of the Congress with the ISF in West Bengal, Bharatiya Janata Party national spokesperson Sambit Patra said that it is not a coalition of the Congress but a coalition. Sambit Patra further said that the Congress depends on the ally.

‘Congress party is dependent on alliance’
In view of the continuing anger in the Congress party, Sambit Patra said that today the Congress is dependent on the alliance to maintain its relevance. Rahul Gandhi and his Congress Party are doing the process of one such alliance in Bengal. Sambit Patra further said that all the alliances that the Congress has formed have not been done for any good performance, good reforms or good governance. These alliances were done only to somehow retain the political relevance of the Gandhi family.

Sambit Patra said that the Congress describes itself as secular, the same Congress allies with the AISF in Bengal. Alliances with the Muslim League in Kerala combine with the Front Organization of the Jamaat-e-Islami. In Assam, Badruddin allies with Ajmal’s party.

‘Congress is only a party of the family’
Sambit Patra said that once Rahul Gandhi had said that yes we are a party of Muslims, this news was also published by a big newspaper but it is not even a party of Muslims, it is only a family party.
