Listen to the news
The information about the Prime Minister’s arrival at AIIMS was given to the staff at the last minute. Due to this, the atmosphere was serious. Staff was also under stress. Modi too sensed the atmosphere as soon as he reached there. So, without delay, he started talking to two nurses posted to vaccinate him. PM Modi asked her names and found out where she was from. The chief nurse was P Niveda from Puducherry and her colleague was Kerala nurse Rosamma Anil.
Will the vaccine be injected with the Veterinary needle?
After the initial introduction, the PM asked both nurses in a joking manner, will she use the needle used in Veterinary? The nurses denied this, but they could not understand why the Prime Minister was asking this. If the nurse was silent, the PM said – the leader is considered to be very thick skinned, so asked if any special thick needle vaccine will be used for him? Hearing this, the nurses laughed. This humor-humor had ended the tension of the nurses. Nurse Niveda applied Bharat Biotech’s indigenous covaxine to the PM. After this, the Prime Minister also took photographs with nurses Niveda and Rosma Anil.
He even spoke and gave the vaccine, he did not even know.
Nurse Niveda later told the media that when we reached the hospital in the morning, we came to know that the Prime Minister was coming. After getting the vaccine, the Prime Minister told him – even put it, did not even know.
Two folded hands and said – Vanakkam
Nurse Rosamma Anil said that today was the happiest day of my life, because we saw PM Modi getting vaccinated in AIIMS. He folded his hands and told us – Vanakkam. Modi ji was kept in observation for 30 minutes after applying kovaxin. He did not feel any problem. He was quite happy. Half an hour later, when he was about to leave the hospital, he again came to us and folded his hands and said – Thank you, Vanakkam.
