According to the department, 3,753 patients were discharged from hospitals during the day and 20,24,704 patients have been exempted from infection so far. The number of under-treated patients in the state now stands at 77,008. So far 1,62,84,612 samples have been tested for corona virus infection across the state, of which 84,794 tests were done today.
According to the department, the recovery rate of patients in the state is 93.95 percent and the infection rate is 2.42 percent. 1,061 new cases were reported in Mumbai, 790 in Pune, 632 in Amravati and 796 in Nagpur. In such a situation, it may be that some other areas of the state will see a ban or lockdown in the coming days.
During the press conference, when Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray was asked about the ultimatum of people to follow the Kovid-19 rules given to them last week or to be ready for lockdown, he said, “We are not willing but if If this is done, it will be done by force. ”
Some cities in the Vidarbha region and Pune have seen sanctions or lockdown in view of the increasing case of Kovid-19. Restrictions have been imposed in many places. It is to be noted that currently Maharashtra is the most serious condition in view of Corona virus infection.

The under-reported cases of corona virus infection in India have increased to 1,64,511, which is 1.48 percent of the total cases of infection in the country. The Union Health Ministry gave this information on Sunday and also said that in the last 24 hours, the number of infections in six states has increased rapidly.
According to the ministry, 86.37 percent cases of infection are from Maharashtra, Kerala, Punjab, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Gujarat. There have been 16,752 new cases of corona virus infection in the last 24 hours in the country. Maharashtra has the highest number of 8,623 cases, Kerala with 3,792 cases and Punjab with 593 new cases.
The ministry said that the order of increasing cases of infection in eight states is going on daily. The cabinet secretary on Saturday held a high-level meeting with officials of these states and union territories, after rising cases of infection in several states and union territories including Telangana, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Punjab, Jammu Kashmir and West Bengal Review meeting.
The cabinet secretary reiterated that states need to constantly and vigorously monitor the spread of infection so that the benefits of the hard work put together last year do not go in vain. The ministry said that states have been advised not to reduce their surveillance, vigorously implement measures for covid control and to deal strictly with violations.
