These lawsuits against Facebook began in 2015. Slowly the litigants grew. By 2020, Facebook had agreed to pay $ 4,047 million, but the amount was increased after the judge’s intervention.
Facebook will keep face recognition option off
All parties are now satisfied with the changes made in their policy by Facebook. These changes will now turn off the face recognition option for users who have not allowed biometric scans on their photos.
Will delete data stored without permission of the users involved in the lawsuit. Those who are not active on Facebook for three years, their data will also have to be deleted.
