On the second anniversary of the Balakot air strike, the Air Force released a video. This video is similar to Balakot Airstrike, IF has released this video on social media, after which it is continuously becoming viral. Two years ago, to avenge the Pulwama attack, the Indian Army carried out an air strike on the terrorist hideouts in Balakot within Pakistan. Around 300 terrorists were killed in this air strike. During this attack, India’s brave wing commander Abhinandan (Abhinandan Varthaman) entered Pakistan and proved his bravery. He shot down the F-16 fighter plane from Pakistan.
As soon as Abhinandan returned from the enemy’s mouth, he became a ‘superhero hero’. Abhinandan lived in Pakistan for 56 hours and returned to his homeland, waving the glory of his bravery. Abhinandan shot down Pakistan’s F-16 fighter aircraft with his MiG-21. Let me tell you that, F-16 fighter aircraft are much more updated than the MiG-21. Despite this, the brave soldier of India not only killed his advanced aircraft, but also safely returned to his homeland.

On 26 February 2019 around 3:30 pm Indian Air Force entered Pakistan and destroyed the Jaish-e-Mohammed’s bases in Balakot and several areas of PoK. In which many terrorists were killed. Due to this action of India, Pakistan got angry and on 27 February, Pakistan’s fighter aircraft entered India’s territory. Which included the F-16 fighter aircraft Pakistan got from the US. Seeing the fighter plane coming from Pakistan, the Indian Air Force took over. Pakistani fighter jets tried to target Rajouri Indian military targets. However, the already vigilant Indian Air Force surrounded the aircraft of Pakistan. Which also included a MiG-21 fighter jet, with wing commander Abhinandan aboard.
After this, Indian fighter jets started chasing Pakistani fighter jets. Abhinand, aboard the Ming-21, killed Pakistan’s F-16 fighter jet and forced the enemies to flee. However, the MiG-21 fell in the air collision and fell towards Pakistan. Wing Commander Abhinandan was aboard in this aircraft. Wing Commander Abhinandan jumped from the parachute and reached PoK, where he was captured by the Pakistani army.
Till the evening of 27 February, Pakistan kept claiming that there were 2 pilots from India in its custody. But later he was overturned by his statement and told that he has only one Indian pilot in his possession. After which the Pakistani Army released a video. The video showed an IAF pilot identifying himself as Wing Commander Abhinandan. However, India did not accept at that time that its pilot was in Pakistan’s possession. They were telling him missing. After this, Pakistan released another video in which Wing Commander Abhinandan is being interrogated. In this video Abhinandan was seen drinking tea and questions were being asked to him.
After this, the Indian Foreign Ministry issued a statement saying that the Indian pilot has been detained by Pakistan and the release of his video is a violation of humanitarian law and the rules of the Geneva Convention. India also asked Pakistan to drop the greeting. After this, the Foreign Ministry of India summoned the Acting High Commissioner of Pakistan and protested on behalf of Pakistan for violating Indian air limits, detaining Abhinandan. The evening of 27 February, once again Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan came in front of the media and kept his point. He asked India to talk.
On 28 February, Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that if the withdrawal of Indian Air Force pilot Abhinandan reduces tension on the border, then he is ready to consider it. The Government of India demanded the release of Pilot Abhinandan immediately unconditionally and said that no bargaining will be done on it. On 28 February, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, while addressing a joint session of Parliament, announced that he will leave the Indian Pilot reception on Friday. During this, he also claimed that he was releasing Wing Commander Abhinandan as part of the peace initiative.
After the release of Abhinandan, PM Modi said that a pilot project has been completed. This practice was now to be done in real. On 28 February, the Indian Army, Air Force and Navy held a joint press conference in the evening, in which evidence was presented to expose Pakistan’s lies. The Air Force official said that Pakistan’s fighter plane F-16 arrived in the Indian border and pieces of missile to be found in it were found in Rajouri. During this, fragments of that missile were also shown to the media. Earlier, Pakistan claimed that none of its F-16s were part of the operation.
On the morning of March 1, the return of Wing Commander Abhinandan was waiting in India. Pakistan said to leave the greeting at 10 o’clock. But he did not live up to his promise. Then he asked to be handed over to Wing Commander Abhinandan after Beating the Retreat, India also canceled Beating the Retreat in view of Abhinandan’s return. It was a March evening then night but Abhinandan was not put on the Wagah border. Pakistan Abhinandan was stopped at Batapur military camp 8 km before Wagah. The wait was long gone and it ended at 9 pm when Pakistan handed over Wing Commander Abhinand to India. On 1 March, Abhinandan was strongly welcomed at the attic border. From here, he was taken to Amritsar and then taken to Delhi for a medical checkup by special plane.
