There is a village in Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh, where the new year is not celebrated. The reason for this is also surprising. Here, in the last week of December for the last four years, one gets absorbed in the cheek of some time. In such a situation, people are sad when the new year comes.
This village is ward number one Bhaironpur of Cantt area. According to the information, the series started in December 2016, when Ramlila was being staged in the village. During this time, Vijay Paswan, a young man who came to see Ramlila here, died in a fight with the people of the village itself.
He was hospitalized in an injured condition and died on 29 December. The villagers stopped the staging of Ramlila without burning Ravana. Since that day, Ramlila has not happened in the village till date.
In December 2017, Sonu Paswan of the village fell victim to a road accident while coming from Kushinagar and died on the spot. At the same time, in December 2018, a fish seller died in a road accident at Ranidiha intersection. Two days later, after killing another fish seller from the village, the body was thrown on the banks of Ramgarhital.
In 2019, the young man of the village, Yuvraj, shot himself with his father’s license rifle. Due to which he died on the spot. Also in the same year Ranjith, another young man from the village, was shot and killed.
At the same time, on December 29 in the year 2020, village salesman Ramesh Chand Jaiswal died in a road accident. The people of the village could not even emerge from this, that on the morning of 31 December, the village’s own man Hazarilal committed suicide by hanging himself from a mango tree. All these incidents have taken place in the last week of December in the last four years. This is the reason why these nine years of untimely death cannot be celebrated with full heart.
Ankit Jaiswal, Rahul Jaiswal, Sanjeev Kumar, Deepak, Priyanka etc. of the village told that a mountain of sorrow has broken in the village due to untimely death for the last four years. Now no one in the village celebrates the new year with heart.
