The ministry has sent a notice of Cabinet extension to Raj Bhavan shortly before. The Raj Bhavan has confirmed this. The swearing-in ceremony of Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh Mohammad Rafiq is likely to take place at Raj Bhawan at 3:00 pm. Let us know that the results of the by-elections in the state have come on 10 November.
Ever since the results came, the expansion of Shivraj’s cabinet was awaited. There were four rounds of meetings between Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, State President VD Sharma and Jyotiraditya Scindia. According to sources, the national leadership has given permission for cabinet expansion on Friday morning.

Shivraj has also visited Delhi for cabinet expansion. Apart from this, he has met many times with Scindia. Silavat and Rajput are close to Scindia. Both these leaders resigned as ministers before the by-election as they were not elected members of the assembly. Both completed six months in office.
However, in the by-elections, they have won their respective seats. Due to this, both these leaders are likely to get a place in the Shivraj cabinet once again. In the by-election, Tulsi Silavat won from Saver and Govind Singh Rajput from Surkhi. A total of 35 ministers including the Chief Minister can be appointed in the state. At present, 6 ministerial posts are vacant in the state government.
