Security forces deployed after grenade attack on temple

The grenade attack on the ancient fort temple in Jandi area adjoining Hiranagar sector on the India-Pakistan international border caused panic. The terrorists missed their target in the attack. No injuries have been reported.
Security forces laid siege to the entire area and launched a search operation. Blockade was also carried out on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway. Till late night, the terrorists had no clue. Police received a grenade pin from the scene.
During the four days from 25 December, six terrorists were arrested preparing for an attack on temples in Poonch and Jammu. In such a situation, this attack in Hiranagar in Kathua district is considered to be part of the same plot of Pakistan. SSP Kathua Dr. Shailendra Mishra said that a grenade attack was made at a temple in Hiranagar sector at 7.30 pm. The attackers missed their target. It has not caused any harm.
6 terrorists caught from Poonch-Jammu in four days
On Sunday, the police arrested a Lashkar terrorist with two grenades from Bagh-e-Bahu in Jammu. A day earlier, three helpers of militants belonging to the new organization of Poonch Lashkar were controlled. The three were tasked by a handler sitting across the border for a grenade attack on a temple in Poonch.
Similarly, on December 25, two terrorists of terrorist Tanjim the Registration Force (TRF) were arrested from Jammu. An AK-47 rifle, a pistol and other components were recovered from the two militants living in South Kashmir.
