Cbi Conduct Raids in Connection with Alleged Cattle Smuggling at Tmc General Secretary Vinay Mishra Look Out Notice – Bengal: CBI raids TMC leader’s premises, close to Mamata’s nephew

Assembly elections are due in West Bengal next year, but the state’s political temperature has increased from now. There is a round of accusations between the BJP and the ruling Trinamool Congress in the state. Meanwhile, on Thursday, the CBI raided the hideouts of Trinamool Youth Congress general secretary Vinay Mishra in Kolkata. The raids have been carried out over the alleged animal trafficking scam.

According to the information, Vinay Mishra was continuously given notice on behalf of the CBI but he ignored it. Mishra is considered close to TMC leader and Abhishek Banerjee, nephew of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. The CBI team reached Mishra’s bases in Kolkata on Thursday. Raids have been conducted at two locations in an animal scam and at one place in a coal theft case. A look out notice was issued against Mishra as he is absconding.

According to initial information, other locations of Vinay Mishra in Kolkata may also be raided. BJP leader and Bengal in-charge Kailash Vijayvargiya has reacted to the CBI’s action. He tweeted, “After the CBI raid by a power broker of Bengal, Vinay Mishra, the emergency meeting of the Bengal high officials and the stir between the Chief Minister and the brothers is a matter of discussion in the state!”

Let us tell you that there was a long talk of smuggling of cattle on the border of India and Bangladesh. It was learned that local officials and leaders were involved. The CBI is investigating this case. Some time ago, the investigating agency sent summons to several officers of BSF and made inquiries.
