An alert has been issued after a new strain of corona virus was found in a two-year-old girl who returned from the United Kingdom (UK). Wherever positive patients are returned from the UK, the container will be strictly implemented. At the same time, 565 missing people returned from the UK have raised the concern of the Health Department. Despite appeals, these people have not come forward.

The list of 1655 people who came from UK in the state was submitted by the Government of India. The Health Department claimed two days ago that 1090 of these passengers have been identified. The rest of the mobile phone switches were found off or the Health Department could not find them. Now after finding a UK strain in a girl child, there has been a stir in the health department. The health department did not have information of this patient until yesterday afternoon.

It was claimed that ICMR would report genome sequencing in one to two days but suddenly the entire strategy had to be changed after a patient came in late on Tuesday evening.

The rules of isolation and containment will be strictly followed wherever there are passengers returning from the UK. The help of local police will be taken in this so that the people of isolation do not get out. The Health Department has also issued orders to stick posters on the homes of positive people returned from the UK.

DMs of all districts have been given these rights under the Disaster Management Act to prevent the spread of infection to others.
