According to the Meteorological Department, cold wave conditions will start in Delhi from Tuesday which will continue till Thursday. The cold will be the highest on 31 December. In fact, after the Western Disturbance, now icy winds have started reaching Delhi. There will be a slight rise in temperature from January 3, but after that the cold will again bother. On Monday, the maximum temperature was 20.9 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 5.6 degrees Celsius, one degree below normal. The minimum temperature was 4 degrees in Ianagar, 4.7 degrees in Jafarpur, and 5.0 degrees Celsius in Lodi Road. The Meteorological Department has predicted maximum temperature of 20 degrees and minimum temperature of four degrees on Tuesday. On December 31 (Thursday), the maximum temperature is expected to be 20 and the minimum temperature is 3 degrees. Normally, the maximum temperature is 20.5 and the minimum temperature is 7.0 degree Celsius from 27 December to 31 December. The department has expressed the possibility of light drizzle along with increasing temperature on January 3.
