A toxic liquor factory has been busted in the Degree College, which has been closed for three years in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut district. Mahendra Pratap Degree College has been closed for three years near Pepla village on Bhola Road under Jani police station area. Kankarkheda and Jani police raided the college on the information of the informer on Thursday night. Where the factory of poisonous liquor was found running. In Hastinapur and Parikshitgarh area also
According to the police, the work of making spurious liquor is more prevalent in Khadar area of Hastinapur and Parikshitgarh. During interrogation, the three accused have said that supply of alcohol is being supplied from Khadar area. After which Kankarkheda and Jani police raided Hastinapur, Parikshitgarh area. But none of the accused have been caught by the police.
Used to prepare wine by putting branded wrappers
The work of preparing poisonous liquor and applying branded wrappers on them was going on in the college. It was told that liquor factory was started in the college which was closed after the lockdown. There used to be a watchman in the college, so that no one even realized that the work of brewing was going on inside. The watchman was also involved in the case of making liquor.
