New Delhi. The Union Health Ministry said on Wednesday that the total number of investigations conducted to detect Corona virus infection in the country has reached close to 165 million. Also, more than 1 million tests done every day ensured that infection rates were kept low. The ministry said that the total number of patients in Kovid-19 has further reduced to 2.86 percent. In 26 states and union territories of the country, the number of patients admitted is less than 10,000. According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total recovery in India is 9,663,382 and the recovery rate has increased to 95.69 percent.

The ministry said that 1,19,035 (samples) were tested per 10 lakh population in India. In comparison to the national average, in 23 states and union territories, more (samples) were tested per 10 lakh population. According to the ministry, the weekly rate of infection confirmation in 16 states and union territories is below the national average. The Ministry said that the number of patients treated in the country as on date is 2,89,240. The ministry said, “Due to the rate of recovery of infected patients being higher than the new cases reported daily, the total number of patients treated has decreased. The infection was confirmed in 23,950 people in a period of twenty four hours, while 26,895 patients recovered from the disease in the same period.

Testing in 2,276 laboratories across the country

The ministry said that in the 24-hour period, there was a decrease of 3,278 in the total number of patients treated. 10,98,164 samples were tested in a day as part of a commitment to test more than 10 lakhs per day. The ability to test samples to detect Kovid-19 in the country has increased to 1.5 million tests per day. 2,276 laboratories across the country are investigating. The ministry noted, “On an average, more than 10 lakh tests per day have ensured that the confirmed rate of infection remains low and is currently being recorded in decreasing order. ”

Total 9,663,382 patients of Kovid in the country so far healthy

The ministry said that a total of 9,663,382 patients of Kovid have recovered so far. Currently, 75.87 percent of the patients who are infection free are from 10 states and union territories. The highest number of patients in Kerala has recovered in a single day, which is 5,057. At the same time, a total of 4,122 patients in Maharashtra and 2,270 patients in West Bengal have recovered during the 24-hour period. The ministry said that 77.34 percent of the new cases are from 10 states and union territories. Kerala continues to have the highest number of new cases, with 6,049 new cases. At the same time, 3,106 new cases were reported in Maharashtra. A total of 333 patients have died in the last 24 hours. Of these, 75.38 percent of the patients were from 10 states and union territories. The highest in Maharashtra, 75 patients died. At the same time, 38 patients died in West Bengal and 27 in Kerala.
