Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said on Wednesday that through various schemes we will bridge all the trenches in agriculture, this will benefit the farmers and ensure that they get the right price. Even during the Kovid-19 epidemic, we saw no impact on farming-related operations.

Tomar said, I would also like to thank the banks, because during the epidemic he brought more than one crore farmers under the Kisan Credit Card cover and gave one lakh crore rupees to the farmers in the last eight months. We have made some reforms for the betterment of the agriculture sector and farmers and will bring further improvements in future.

9 crore will go to farmers’ account: Tomar
Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar told the media that in a virtual function on December 25, 9 crore farmers will get Rs 18000 crore in their account. Prime Minister Modi will be the chief guest at this ceremony. Tomar told that till yesterday evening, 2 crore farmers have registered themselves for this online program.
