Seeing the seriousness of the matter, Mamta has given an ultimatum to PK. If she fails to control the situation, Mamata herself will take the final decision. The party is now under Damage Control after several leaders, including TMC strongman Suvendu Adhikari, left the party. Mamta Banerjee herself has to go to the ground to bridge the rift in the party.
Among the leaders and activists who rebelled against TMC, the most resentment came from PK and his company, I Pack. Angry leaders say that these people want to run in the corporate style, not the party’s people. This is not in keeping with the political interest of Bengal. This is the reason that angry leaders are distancing themselves from the party.
Sensing the growing displeasure of the leaders and activists, Mamata summoned Prashant Kishor at the party’s core committee meeting held in Kalighat recently. According to sources, in the meeting, Mamta expressed displeasure with Kishore and instructed him to diagnose these problems immediately.
Mamta signed a Rs 400 crore contract with iPAC
On the advice of Mamta Banerjee’s nephew Abhishek, TMC has signed a contract of Rs 400 crore with Eye Pack. Sources reveal that PK’s team has started running the party in corporate style. Party leaders doing politics of impulse and sentiment are not getting this style.
