The farmer agitation has been going on for 25 days in the shivering cold. From Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Union Minister and the Bharatiya Janata Party have been consistently saying that these laws will not bring any minimum support price, but farmers are insistent on repealing the agricultural laws. Meanwhile, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal has given a big statement on the minimum support price.

Manohar Lal has clarified that he will quit politics before MSP (MSP) is hit. The government is thinking above the minimum support price through new agricultural laws. The MSP will never end. MSP was, is and will remain MSP. In this way there will also be mandis. Some people are agitated by politics that they are not farmer friendly. CM said that all three new agricultural laws are for the benefit of farmers. Earlier, Deputy Chief Minister of the state Dushyant Chautala has also given a statement in support of MSP.

At the water rights rally in Narnaul, Chief Minister Manohar Lal said on the issue of SYL (Sutlej-Yamuna Link Canal) that the SYL case has been pending for decades. As soon as the Bharatiya Janata Party was formed, a petition was heard to hear the matter ahead of time. After which the Supreme Court ruled in favor of Haryana.

The Chief Minister of both the states was asked to sit down and decide but Punjab did not agree to give our rights. Now Supreme Court will give the final verdict anytime and we will get our right. States cannot be arbitrary in a democratic country. Punjab will have to give up its stubbornness on SYL. CM said that democracy has a way of protesting. They can protest before the House and the media or by gathering democratically. We should talk about SYL water to the farmer brothers of Punjab sitting on the border.
