Biman Banerjee, speaker of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, has refused to accept the resignation of Trinamool Congress MLA Suvendu Adhikari. Please tell that the officer recently resigned as Trinamool Congress MLA. Earlier, he also left the post of state transport minister.

Biman Banerjee said in this regard, ‘I looked at the letter (resignation of Suvendu Adhikari) and found that the date was not clear on that. I was not informed that his resignation was correct and independent. Therefore it is not possible to accept it. I have asked him to appear before me on 21 December.

The officer, who was angry with the party leadership on many issues, resigned as MLA on Wednesday. There is now speculation about his joining the BJP. The Trinamool termed her resignation as a fraud with the party and said that those who knew that they would not get tickets were leaving the party.

Officer gets Z-class security
The Union Home Ministry has provided Z-category security to Suvendu Adhikari in West Bengal. At the same time, outside of Bengal they will get the security of Y plus category. In Bengal, he will now walk in a bulletproof vehicle. The ministry said in a statement that after examining the security system of Suvendu, it has been decided to give them Z-class security.
