In June, in a meeting chaired by Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, approval was given to start PGRS (Public Grievance Redressal System) for the common man. The objective of introducing this system was to bring complaints of all departments under one roof. By the way, this facility has been started on the new Grievance Redressal Portal across the state.
Now this facility will also be available in the state where internet facility is not available. The government has introduced new complaint portals at service centers for this www.connect.punjab.gov.in started. It will be easy to file a complaint against any government department or officer by paying a fee of Rs 10 through this portal.

Many benefits will be available to the people of filing a complaint on the new portal of the Punjab government. First, that complaints from all departments will be heard under one roof. Secondly, every officer will have a fixed time limit for disposal of complaints. With this, as a third benefit, the complainant can register his feedback through the portal.
